Finally, a group setting is uniquely motivating, and many find it easier to be consistent when meeting up with people.

Fleet Feet Running Club - Santa Rosa

Program Start: Ongoing
Program Schedule: Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. & Saturdays at 7:30 a.m.
Goal Race: Santa Rosa Marathon: 5K or 10K August 24th, Half or Full Marathon August 25th
Program Fee: $45.00/month (excludes race entry)
Description: The Fleet Feet Running Club is about encouraging and motivating one another to do their best, and whether you are looking to simply finish, improve on a previous time or qualify for Boston, you will become a better, faster and smarter runner. This group covers distances from 10K to the marathon, and is recommended for runners at a 13 minute per mile pace or faster. Sign up for one month at a time for $45.00 per month, or get a discount on multi-month memberships of 3, 6 or 12 months. You will receive email reminders to renew so that you remain current. Fleet Feet Running Club - Tuesday Speed Work

Program Start: Ongoing
Program Schedule: Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m.
Program Fee: $30 per month, $80 for 3 months, $160 for 6 months
Description: Improve your running economy and fitness with a weekly speed work session. Work out with a group to help keep you motivated, and get expert coaching to help with your running form, training approach, and injury prevention. This is best for intermediate to advanced runners who have been running for at least several months, but pace is not a consideration - everyone is there to improve! The group meets Tuesdays at 6:00 pm at various locations for timed intervals, distance intervals and hill repeats. Even elite runners prefer to work out in a group when it comes to speed workouts! Annadel Half Marathon Training Group (Winter 2020)

Program Start: Sunday January 12th at 8:00 a.m.
Program Schedule: Sundays at 8:00 a.m., January 12, 2020 to April 5, 2020
Goal Race: Annadel Half Marathon on April 5, 2020
Program Fee: $119.00 (excludes race entry)
Description: Do you like running on trails? Train to run the Annadel Half Marathon with a bunch of awesome people and have a blast doing so. For 13 glorious weeks, this group will run in Annadel every Sunday morning (rain or shine!) at 8:00 a.m. starting January 12th. The first run will be 5 miles, and each week the distance will increase by 0.5 to 1 mile. NOTE: You should already be able to run 5 miles and be prepared for rocky, rooted quite technical hill runs. We will host an informational meeting one hour prior to the first session (7:00 am).

St. Patrick's Day Beginning & Intermediate 5K Training Group

Program Start: Monday January 13th at 6:00 pm
Program Schedule: Mondays and Thursdays from January 13th to March 15th, 2020
Goal Race: St. Patrick's Day 5K (Santa Rosa)
Program Fee: $119.00 (excludes race entry)
Description: Description: Are you looking for a way to start or restart your running? Join our 5K training group for a fun, supportive environment to kick start your health goals. If you're unsure if the group is right for you, come out to our first run and try it out for free! The program is a mix of walking and running. Beginning group meets Mondays and Wednesdays. The intermediate group will meet Monday (with beginners) and Thursday, just the intermediate group. On Mondays the group will be running the same amount as the beginners with more effort during the run part (little faster mile pace then regular runs). On Thursday, the goal would be able to run longer. Run/walk intervals with the goal of longer runs between the walk breaks. The program duration is from January 13th to March 15th. The beginning group meets Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. The intermediate group meets Mondays and Thursday evenings at 6 p.m. The groups will meet at the corner of West 9th St and Stony Point Road (Stony Point Business Park Parking Lot) in Santa Rosa. IPA 10K Training Group

Program Start: Saturday January 11th at 8:00 am
Program Schedule: Saturdays at 8:00 a.m., January 11, 2020 to April 11, 2020
Goal Race: IPA 10K (Sebastopol) on April 11, 2020
Program Fee: $119.00 (excludes race entry)
Description: Our 10K training programs are a great “next step” from our 5K programs. Whether you want to maintain your current fitness level, continually challenge your endurance, or develop a solid foundation in the hopes of training for a future half or full marathon, this is the training program for you. The program will include an education on different training techniques and tools in order to further enjoy running and improve performance. Weekly group runs and a new community of runners will keep you motivated to reach your personal goals. Runners and run/walkers are welcome. Group meets on Saturdays at 8:00 a.m. First run is 2 miles and we increase gradually over the 13 weeks to the 7 mile distance. Intro to Trail Running - Annadel 10K 2020

Program Start: Sunday January 12, 2020, 8:00 am
Program Schedule: Sundays at 8 am in Annadel - January 12, 2020 to April 5, 2020
Goal Race: Annadel 10K, April 5, 2020
Program Fee: $119 (excludes race entry)
Description: Join us to explore local trails along the foothills and learn how to conquer the terrain. You will experience some Sonoma County's amazing scenery, while learning new trails that you will visit for years to come. Hitting the dirt may be just what you are looking for to reduce injury and enhance your running experience. Sunday runs will vary in distance and intensity, starting at 2 miles and working up to 7 miles. Our first information meeting will kick off the morning of our first training at 7 am, and the duration of the program itself will be 13 weeks. This group is for the newbie to trail running or hiking looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to improve their fitness and reduce injuries. All levels are welcome, including runners, run/walker and hikers. By the end, everyone will have worked up their training to our ultimate goal race, the Annadel 10K on April 5, 2020. We will host an informational meeting one hour prior to the first session (7:00 am).
