One of our popular training groups is back for Spring 2019!
If you're looking for a fun, supportive environment to kick start your health goals, try out our Beginning 5K group! It is a run walk group that accommodates all levels and paces. If you're unsure if the group is right for you, come out to our first run and try it out for free!
The program is a mix of walking and running. Our goal throughout the training program is to gradually increase the running portions while decreasing the walking portions to help you effectively complete a 5K. Along the way, we'll keep you moving with guidance and advice, weekly group training runs, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury.
With Coach April no one gets left behind! One of the biggest fears is "I'll be the slowest" -- please set that aside and come participate!
The program duration is from March 25 - June 25. The group meets Monday and Thursday evenings at 6 p.m. at Finley Community Park in Santa Rosa.
Baby strollers are welcome, all paces are accommodated.
